Hit my limit with this day at about 2:30pm. Checked out completely - walked dogs 1.25miles, made pork tenderloin w: cream Dijon mustard sauce, now playing Elite Dangerous Oreo in my lap, Jasper in the desk “inbox” mix of Queen, David Bowie and other favs from late 70s and early 80s too loud in ears

Brand new gallon jug of milk had a leak and leaked all over back of Subaru, but we have an excellent k-9 clean up crew.
Just got back from Portland and the NSA conference - running AV and IT for the whole deal. While I was gone Luna only came out enough so Brenna knew she was alive, as soon As I came back downstairs - there she was on the couch for snacks and cuddles.

My partner has reported that since I left to run the conference Luna has been sulking and not coming out except very briefly. I hope when I get back she gets back to the darling cuddler and occasional kitten play she has become recently.
I adore having my kids here in Portland with me at Shellfisheries conference. Johanns first one was in 2008… he was all of 8 yrs old. He and Rebha taking pictures of moss scapes.
It may be almost freezing out (33F @1pm) but the snow is gone… so cat yard officially open again. Until temps get over 50f only for a few hours a day after breakfast lunch and dinner… but the cats are all happy for it!

Luna (our precious female feline) is so funny… she started stealing nibbles of cheese from me. Became part of our nightly “date”. Turns out she does NOT like Gruyère. She likes Colby jack, Loves Vermont cheddars both sharp and mild, but her favorite is Vermont cheddar aged 5yrs (also most $$$)
I think I may be going insane. I keep bouncing from metal covers of 70s & 80s rock (à la Frog Leap Studios) to Scottish Irish English folk songs to Trombone Shorty & Jon Batiste doing New Orleans. I mean I love all those styles but all back to back?can’t avoid it so might as well enjoy the ride!
