I wasn’t suggesting doing a geology degree just because it’s fun and interesting, rather if you want to do a non vocational degree, geology is a good choice because it’s fun and interesting

That’s simply not true, career options in Civil
Engineering, sub-surface waste disposal, hydro geology (ground water), mineral and critical mineral exploration etc. It’s also a great “general” degree and it’s fun and interesting
