Great to see the art exhibition created by talented young artists aged 6-16 from Art-K, Mill Lane. at #WestHampstead library, earlier. The library was full of proud parents and young people. It’s places like our local library that make West Hampstead such a brilliant place to live.
Great to be out on the doorstep in #WestHampstead last night. And starting the day getting the postal vote out with Deputy Prime Minister, David Lammy.

Labour Cllrs and members standing in front of a tree
Managed to dodge the worst of the rain as we spoke to local residents about any issues they wanted to raise with us. Your @camdenlabour.bsky.social #WestHampstead Cllrs and candidates are here not just to listen to you, but to act on your behalf. #VoteLabour🌹 on May 7th.
Tonight, Labour MPs voted to scrap the two child limit – a move that puts us on course to drive the biggest reduction of child poverty in a single Parliament.
The Tories and Reform UK voted against it.
Don’t let anyone tell you voting Labour doesn’t make a difference 🌹
Man jetwashing street
Great to see @camdenlabour.bsky.social’s £1m investment in cleaner streets in action first thing this morning. West End Lane was getting its regular jet wash. Your #Labour Cllrs investing in our local community to keep our streets and neighbourhoods clean. #LabourDelivers #CleanerCamden🌹

Starting the year with a win. Sounds trivial until you see someone on a mobility scooter or using a wheelchair trying to navigate it. #LabourCllrLife 🌹 @camdenlabour.bsky.social www.mylondon.news/news/north-l... 1/2
Today the government is introducing legislation to abolish the two-child limit.
More than any other, this policy has driven children into poverty and cut them off from opportunity. Removing it is the right thing to do – supporting future generations and giving all children a fair start in life.

🎄Brilliant to catch up with everyone at the Community Association of #WestHampstead Christmas party last night. Such a great mix of centre users, class tutors, trustees and staff. Always amazes me just how much the Centre does. Take a look at their jam-packed programme: cawh.org.uk
Good to catch up with Sue and the team from Sidings and check out the views over (a very windy) West Hampstead
Great to attend the opening of the new Liddell Place shared workspace with @richardolszewski.bsky.social. A fantastic initiative from Labour-led Camden’s Community Investment Programme with 14 affordable units. This will bring employment, economic benefit and growth to the #WestHampstead area.

Constructive & informative safety walkabout in Lithos Road with local residents, Cllrs & Camden Safety team. We have action points on ASB, drug & flytip issues affecting residents that I’m chasing. Thanks Cllr Callaghan Cabinet Member for Safer Communities for support @westbranchlabour.bsky.social
Great meeting with #WestHampstead & #FortuneGreen residents at tonight’s Neighbourhood Development Forum. Informative discussion about the pavement at 156 West End Lane that I’ve been trying to rectify since hoarding came off in Oct 2024, the O2 development & the step-free tube.
