If Damian Kust were still with us today, he would be insisting that the H2H between Alcaraz and Sinner is actually 11-6, as the ATP does not include challenger matches in the official H2H stats.
Long live the memory of Damian Kust and long live the match that was 2019 Alicante!!
Life Update🚨
I’ve officially moved to the Santa Monica area.
If you’re nearby and want to connect, play some tennis, or meet up, hit me up.
Excited to explore the LA tennis community as well as the food scene 🎉
The issue is not that the tennis season is too long (since many players NEED it to make a living) but rather the high number of mandatory requirements. Shortening the season will not only hurt majority of people, but it will also mean top players playing in many more exhibitions.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but Ted Lasso season 2 is better than season 1. The characters felt a lot more human, went through more ups & downs, you saw their flaws, you empathized with them more & the development was a lot more multi-layered. Season 1 was a honeymoon. Season 2 was real marriage.
See Post-Slam recap with Hall of Famer Steve Flink!
Topics discussed:
- Alcaraz/Sinner dominance & rivalry
- Sinner serve% struggles
- Alcaraz serve improvements & future protections
- Djokovic’s current status as 3rd best
- Women’s: Sabalenka, Swiatek, Anisimova, etc

With her win over Eva Lys, Iga Swiatek is officially 100-0 in completed matches at WTA 1000 level after winning the first set.
ONE-HUNDRED achieved at the IGA Stadium!
An awesome century, after claiming her 100th Grand Slam match win by winning her 6th major title at Wimbledon.
Will be in D.C. covering the entire tournament on-site so come say hello if y’all are there.
Should be an exciting event! 🎾
If Iga Swiatek’s level on the court this year at Wimbledon was a 10/10,
I give this Strawberry Pasta a solid 9!!!
I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this dish 🎾🍓🇵🇱🙌
Wimbledon must be watched properly

It’s still blowing my mind that Alcaraz won 17 of 20 tiebreak points from 0-2 in 4th set tiebreak and 17-5 overall
0 Alcaraz UNFORCED ERRORS in 20 consecutive pts of tiebreak play against Jannik Sinner is wild🤯

Alcaraz hit more winners (8-1)
Alcaraz hit fewer UFEs (2-5)
RG Final 4th set tiebreak
Alcaraz 7-3
- 4 Alcaraz Winners (2 aces)
- 1 Sinner Winner (FH Volley)
- 1 Sinner FE
- 2 Sinner UFEs (3-4 to 3-6)
- 2 Alcaraz UFEs (1st 2 pts)
RG Final 5th set tiebreak

Thrilled to have an article in The Guardian today, the publication I used to read to learn about tennis and still read to keep up with it.

Great experience playing tennis today in San Diego with esteemed 🎾 journalist & author @christopherclarey.bsky.social on the day his Rafa book “The Warrior” got published and released. Chris is also a gifted player on the court with a classic net rushing, chip/charge, S&V throwback play-style.

Was an absolute pleasure covering the Miami Open and I felt very fortunate to analyze the tennis so up close and personal
It was pretty cool to be able to pick the brains of so many top players on both tours.
Looking back I got to ask questions to so many of them
Here’s the whole list:)
Just 2 ATP players made the quarters at BOTH Indian Wells & Miami in 2025!
Francisco Cerundolo
Arthur Fils
Last time that no ATP players made the semis of BOTH events (excluding 2021 when IW was in October) was 2013
Andy Murray (IW QF, Miami🏆)
Tomas Berdych (IW SF, Miami QF)
Djokovic made 39/45 (86.7%) of first serves in today vs Grigor Dimitrov
That percentage is officially the HIGHEST of his career across 1,362 ATP Level matches😱
Extraordinary considering the windy conditions, an average 117 mph speed, and the pinpoint accuracy he was finding
After Iga Swiatek won her R3 match against Elise Mertens, I asked her about her return of serve and her thoughts about the deep return position ⬇️
After Djokovic’s 6-2 6-2 win over Musetti, I asked him about the forehand drop shot and its effectiveness/purpose in his game. It’s been a recent development this week in Miami in his practice sessions and all 3 matches so far
Here is what Novak had to say about it
At this rate, Jannik Sinner will come back to a hero’s welcome in Rome, fresh off his nice extended 3 month off-season, feeling even more gleeful that none of the top players made any headway on him and that he’s still far & away the best player in the world. State of the ATP rn!
Unbeatable!! So glad this is living up to the hype.
Live from my Apple Watch while watching Joao Fonseca vs Learner Tien in the Miami Hard Rock Stadium 😅
