Finished The Song of Achilles today. Fabulous retelling, outstandingly executed. It really stands up to all the praise it has received! Loved it, would recommend if gay Ancient Greek heroes are of any interest.

Didn't love the movie as much as I loved the book, but Hopkins and Thompson's performances were amazing! I love how it doesn't preach its themes and message, good example of 'show, don't tell' - for example how much worth is it clinging to notions of dignity, tradition and professionalism at the end
