I don’t like nested functions.
So here's a small stylistic thing I do.
I wrote a simple Python Class that allows you to define functions and then add them to a pipeline that works similar to how method calls work.
The Pipeline class passes the output of each function to the next in the list.
Let's leave the term "GIS" in 2024.
GIS is software. Or at best a suite of software.
It's not a job title. It's not a career. It's not a discipline.
Tie your work to a single tool, you lose credibility AND income.
The world needs geospatial problem solvers, not software operators.

Personally, I really like the idea that I can choose the algorithm that determines what shows up in my feed.
I was never super active on Twitter, but Linkedin has gotten worse and worse as they've continued to change their algorithm.
