The Big BS Bill was the wrong move for Darin LaHood's District and the wrong move for McHenry County.

BUT the Darin LaHood & Trump MAGA Big BS Bill cuts to food assistance are set to cost American farmers nearly $23 billion in revenue nationally and put more than 220,000 jobs across the country at risk.

The Democratic Party of McHenry County knows that McHenry farmers feed our county, the country, and the world. According to the 2022 Ag Census, McHenry County agricultural operations employed 1,767 workers and sold $244 million in agricultural products.

These cuts are affecting wait times for care, the Veterans Crisis Line, the expansion of care for veterans under Biden's PACT Act, critical clinical tials, and so much more. Enough is enough.
