FFS these people are so dim. Just invest in high-speed rail already. 🤷♀️
It’s surreal that seeing grown adults be kind, playful, mature & endearing feels shocking these days:

Wow 🤯
I honestly don’t see how the USA will survive the moral bankruptcy, democratic wreckage, and loss of international credibility caused by Trump 2.0
“I have suffered so much distress...from the carelessness of allowing the borders of the sciences to run into one another” is Kant at his most diva
I noted yesterday that we would do well to describe what role the actions Trump is performing, rather than assuming he is functioning as President.
Mostly, Trump is an old man retreating into his lifelong hobbies: construction, cons, and corruption. With lots of golf.
Did not miss any of these (tho admit the Whiskey Pete thing didn't make it far beyond FT), but strongly applaud this kind of summarizing.
It's REALLY hard to keep up with all the corruption. Really hard.

I think we cannot underestimate the WEIRD & utterly FRIGHTENING year at home. My disabled son was home & the online school for him was so janky we gave up; my husband & I taught music over zoom & he did a full online season w the DSO. But we had enough space & were kind to us & we didn’t die, so.
On the one hand it was magical being with my family after crazy travel on the other hand we homeschooled our 1st+ then 2nd grader ourselves and we lost our $@&!* minds and all my external project funding collapsed and and and... it was horrid mostly.
I was treated to a spectacular bit of gaslighting by Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer, David Markus, over this post. I have a zero-tolerance policy for both gaslighters and mansplainers—habits that frequently overlap—so I’m sharing some thoughts. Please spread the word. Thanks. youtube.com/shorts/uMb82...

Again, it's not just that it is targeting MI, but Harmeet is targeting Wayne (Detroit and Dearborn) and not Oakland or Antrim, where there were criminal shenanigans by Trumpsters in 2020 or Washtenaw, where a non-citizen did unwittingly vote in 2024 (but got prosecuted after the fact).
Holy. Shit. This is Reid Wiseman's video he took with his iPhone while at the moon 🌙
ALAMO, Tex. — President Trump emerged Tuesday from six days out of public view defiant and unapologetic about his incitement of last week's mob attack on the Capitol and warned that his impeachment could lead to more violence. The president denied any culpability in the violent riot that killed a police officer and threatened the lives of Vice President Pence and members of Congress. He said his remarks encouraging throngs of supporters last Wednesday to march to the Capitol in a show of force to pressure and intimidate lawmakers to overturn the election results were “totally appropriate.” President Trump visits the U.S.-Mexico border wall, in Alamo, Tex., on Jan. 12, 2021. (Carlos Barria/Reuters) During a visit to a portion of newly constructed border wall here in the Rio Grande Valley, Trump warned against the effort in Congress to hold him accountable. “The impeachment hoax is a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country and is causing tremendous anger and division and pain, far greater than most people will ever understand, which is very dangerous for the U.S.A., especially at this very tender time,” Trump said.
Those talking abt WSJ post abt Trump might find this post fr Josh Dawsey, one of the first beginning to assess Trump's insane comments during January 6 (and also describing Trump trying to build stuff).
This is how dangerous insanity got managed Last Time.

It's been so interesting to watch this unfold. Barnes & Noble and other big book chains shut indies down in the the 1990s (and on) and then Amazon came along and ate up all the book market share. Now people tired of big corporations are creating demand for more indies
Damn. 😕🇺🇸

I laid out the details of the Epstein/Maxwell transnational organized crime operation, including the names of the main perpetrators, in HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT (2020) and THEY KNEW (2022).
A large white waterfowl with orange feet stands in front of a door. On the door is a cardboard sign secured with tape that reads, "DO NOT LET THE DUCK IN." Adding insult to injury, I think the duck might be a goose.
Whatever you do,

Have been wondering when candidates would start talking about this. One of the biggest corruption scandals is U.S. history playing out in real time.
Stop selling testosterone to men.
My favorite thing is the kid who “takes the upper harmony.” They are a badass. (Also lol at how they’re the loudest, even drowning out both a president & mayor.)
Here's an infuriating fact: Elon Musk’s fortune could pay the average salary for every public school teacher in the US for three years.
Take a look at these charts that tell the story of oligarchy in overdrive.
