Amiga BOING!!
My “new” Seiko pulsemeter digital watch like the ones seen in Aliens.

“I’ve got a really bad feeling…”
And it feels so good, Ripley!
Some might think it janky in 2026, but sometimes I really love the left/right separated audio channels.
Very similar looking, yeah, but not compatible

Lord have mercy, folks. Come on now.
If I remember correctly, believe it or not, this is color cycling. I’ll doublecheck over the weekend. But I think that’s why you can play this on literally any Amiga.
Amiga computer
- 1986 hardware (remember…)
- 1990 effect
Discuss.
Dark photo of a young man working the keyboard of an Amiga 500. He was manipulating a Mindlight 7 (not seen in the photo) which was projecting animated to-the-beat graphics onto a large screen which can be partially seen behind him.
Just got this photo of the Mindlight in action in 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia from a warehouse party with the band Flatbush. No direct Mindlight image here but the screen behind the guy (you can see a piece of the large black screen at the far-right) was "driving wild Mindlight 7 animation."
NEW VIDEO: I demo the mind-bendingly cool and rare Amiga hardware - Mindlight 7 - which is a music concert visualizer. And... they are being REBORN in 2026! youtu.be/9NbgimHvhrk
Computers used to be *so* damned cool.

That Delorean 🔥
Because I have a little red LED light strip behind the computer underneath the desk as well.
Photograph of my Amiga 1000 with a completely solid and bright red screen on the original CRT monitor.
The legendary super duper "Satguru" Meditation manifested into reality.
Hey Spiro, have you seen someone else's attempt at creating Wordle on the C64? www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNxN...
Made some of us think of you. Hope you are doing well.
Photo of my Commodore 128 with GeoWrite on the screen. I started typing up my jiffyDOS cheat sheet.
All work and no play makes Ja…
Hang on, this work is actually fun.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄
This gives what I was after: MHz for 060 cards. And new features are being added weekly. It’s also extremely easy to install and use.
Photo of part of my A3000's screen with the new xSysInfo screen shown. My results are... good. :)
Amiga fans, remember SysInfo for benchmarking your machine? There'a a brand new open source xSysInfo, written from scratch (supports RTG and 060)

This is gonna be one of the best Christmases ever now that my Commodore C64 Ultimate has arrived.
Maybe I should open up a brand new brick and mortar Commodore dealer store to help sell the new C64 Ultimate computer, possibly even at the mall. What could go wrong? 😎

Photo of my new Pebble watch with a black and white Boing Ball demo on the front, with my newly acquired PPC Cyberstorm CPU card with (I think) 128 MORE RAM to add to the mix. Fingers crossed... I think my other Cyberstorm has 24MB.
And the new addition that needs to be tested...
Photo of my incredibly beefed up Amiga 3000 that sports a 19" LCD display via zz9000 HDMI card, Cyberstorm 060 card, half-gb silly amounts of RAM, etc. The LCD is a beige NEC that displays a background image painting of Rachel from Blade Runner on the desktop. The walls are awash in red and blue lighting from some LED strips I have under the desk.
Good ol' (bad ol') SysInfo, which does show my Internal Hardware Modes correctly with the 060 CPU in use.
Half-GB of RAM, plus more. It's nutty.
This is one-part terrifying and one-part exciting.
I was fortunate to buy a PPC Cyberstorm for my A3000. I already have an 060 Cyberstorm, but not the PPC version. Curiosity killed the cat, I guess.
That means I need to some minor surgery. But first, a loving glance and speed test.
You got me there.
Screenshot of my phone’s recent calls where only one call isn’t junk or a scam.
Please remind me why I still have a phone “app” on my phone?
Everything is so broken. Don’t get me started on unwanted texts, either.
Black Crypt (1992) - an Amiga exclusive - was the first game by the same folks who would team up with id Software to bring us Hexen and Heretic. They'd later go on to Soldier of Fortune and Call of Duty fame: Raven Software, in Wisconsin. Wish they'd return to Fantasy.

Well shoot. Sometimes getting a little late to the party DOES make an impression. Heads will turn.
Just learned that if it wasn’t for a demo party I organized — Rendezvous ’92 — the people behind @badgerpunch.com would not have met, and we would not have the fantastic Roguecraft game on the Amiga. Contribute to the universe, and it will come back to you! 🥰 www.badgerpunch.com/title/roguec...
Screenshot of an email I received today that says, "Eric, Good news! Your Commodore 64 Ultimate order status has been updated to “Manufactured. Awaiting final assembly.” Stay tuned for more updates. ❤️ All of us at Commodore"
