I mean if I had the time and was keen enough to do one-to-one lessons I'd take them but I don't and I'm not. There's an argument to be made for them because of convenience sake for sure. I'd prefer to use these apps, visit the country and make mistakes / be overly polite than chase perfection.

Lingodeer looks like a good resource, it has 3 lessons based around a subject and then a story to help you learn to read what you've been taught and speak what you've been taught.

It's layout is a LOT like Duolingo but I feel like I've learned more from it than I did from the green owl app.
