Red Rising is such a fun read but yes, it breaks you multiple times like WoT does.

I’m rewatching S1 of Wheel of Time and… so deeply emotional. I recognize the issues with the books but I wouldn’t have figured out how to be who I am without it. I wouldn’t have found friends who helped me be okay with myself without it.

Watching these characters become real is… something.
