This is a concept art of a redesign of the character "Bebop" from "Deadlock". Here the sci-fi construct is reimagined as a diver old diver corpse possessed by a sea spirit. He has a diving helmet, fishnet around the waist, he holds a big anchor in one hand and his other arm is replace by tentacles flowing down and grasping a sea mine.

Hey everyone!

I am back with another Deadlock redesign. This time I chose Bebop and completely reinvented him. Instead of a sci-fi construct, I imagined him as a diver corpse possessed by an underwater spirit. The nautical theme suits quite well for his abilities and VA too.

Moodboard + doodles of what pre-summer 2024 Ivy could have looked like. Based on an unused material (tengu_v2col.vmat) and a scrapped ability (tengu_ultimate_beam.vpcf). These may not necessarily ever have been used for the same Ivy/Tengu concept. She had an ultimate called "Wildfire", which was essentially just Bebop's Hyperbeam, but mobile. She'd take off, unleashing a beam of green fire while flying around. Made me think that she was more dragon-like before scrapping the idea. I'd love to know more about her early development!
