Yes I thought so. My dodgy ex worked on something for it. Some pipes or something. He was a bad welder. He was probably corrupt too. I wouldn’t trust any of them. Just personally.

My copy of Darin Hayton's book, "The Crown and the Cosmos: Astrology and the Politics of Maximilian I," with an image of another funky astronomical paper instrument by Johannes Stabius and Albrecht Dürer on the cover. Now available in paperback from the University of Pittsburgh Press.
There is also some additional historical context for this and other paper astronomical instruments by Dürer and Stabius in Darin Hayton's excellent book, "The Crown and the Cosmos": upittpress.org/books/978082... #HistSTM @upittpress.bsky.social
That would be better. We had a desalination plant in Victoria but I don’t think they ever used it. Some dodgy bikie stuff with the CFMEU.
Yes I use it sometimes and feel guilty. It’s really fraught with problems on basically every level, social, environmental, Human Resources, everything.
I think everyone oversees says they are really blood sucking vampires on the water system. We already know how bad that is. The driest inhabitanted continent in the world.
Great to see them putting women right at the front of sport …

It sounds like super boring tutorials without any creativity added.
I knew her at University. She is outstanding. What a powerhouse.
Oh excellent work from the @greens.org.au Seems they are the only party who actually are prepared to set standards for corporate conduct. Fabulous to see 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Listening and acting for years. It’s so frustrating. Humans!
A brilliantly-worked and detailed account of how theatrical and civic worlds were intertwined in early modern London
The thing with Gen X and music is that yes we had grunge but we also had rock and funk and hip hop and rap and pop and house and trance and lounge and reggae and soul and Gregorian chants ffs.
Taxing our gas.Today’s Age cartoon.
Absolutely. I can’t believe we fund gas at the expense of our own people. I’m forever horrified by all governments.
At least that’s some good news considering everything. Allowing old people to access showers seems most like the most important.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but there are still some people who research music from before c. 1750.
If you are a media professional or creative in need of professional opinions about early music or the composers who wrote it I encourage you to ask an actual specialist in that period.
And all of those are the reasons I grew up to be a music librarian🤣 I'm polyjamerous!
So maybe we should all look to the future and see the terrible consequences of Wars. The consequences of not being tolerant of others religious beliefs. The Jacobites were from both sides of religion at the time & that’s what makes them special. They all supported the King & were loyal to a fault.
I sometimes just don’t want to get out of bed at this time, but honestly this workshop has really helped me understand the consequences of the religious practices & result of wars. My ancestors were the standard bearers for Bonny Prince Charlie. Possibly not a great move for them financially.
Just had my Jacobite Studies Trust, which is about me attempting to learn beyond the Civil Wars. I certainly have. Tonight was really interesting because it involved the Archeology of Glencoe in the Argyll area. These things are worth getting up for at 2am, which is by no means easy.
That was one of my all time favourites as a child. I just loved the whole gentle bull thing.
A picture of the book The Betrothed by Alessandro Manzoni
After paying my bills I decided to spend my last $30 on a copy of Alessandro Manzoni The Betrothed given its come up several times in the last week from different people. I always see these things as a sign.
I think it’s only Radio 4 I can get. Wah Wah! In our time is working. In the cultural backwaters at least not in the swamp.
News is just bad news and nothing is that enlightened. Glitches in the global market economy are more common than ever before me thinks. That’s why books are always in style.
My BBC thing isn’t working for me. Typically as I always manage to have some confusion with these podcast things. I will have to wait until I have my technical savvy family to figure it out. I can only get the news.
This will be great. I can listen to the whole thing in Australia. Thanks.
