Announcing Rhubarb and Custard!
This is going to be a little comic following red panda Rhubarb and her faithful butterfly companion Custard as they investigate a mystery at The Temple of Snow!
I've been working away on this for a while so I've got more pages to post in the next few days!
Just a little piece inspired by keeping my daughter entertained during dog walks! Which flowers/plants do you recognise? 🌼
Happy #kidlitartpostcard day!

I've written a blog post about freelancing! In particular, some of the things that don't get talked about as much.
These are just some of the tips I've written about (and there's more detail in the post 😊) so check it out here:

Line drawing: a very rotund mourning dove perching on a wire.
Three small drawings: One of a shrine under a pine tree with a stone inside, one of a salamander on the forest floor, one of a coastal path with stone steps, two tall trees, stone columns and two hikers in the distance. The overall feel is very late summer to early autumn.
ok I will stop fiddling with this now
'Bug Jar' - another childhood memory inspired piece! I used to love exploring my grandparents' garden, collecting bugs in this little bug jar. They had a huge buddleia bush in the garden full of butterflies 🦋 - I don't think I ever managed to catch a butterfly though!
My role at Coatsink has been made redundant. Would appreciate your support and any leads you could have!

More childhood memories - this one is a wall I used to love climbing up to let the cows in the field lick my wellies!
