Looks like a fun landscape for some kind of buggy racing!

I guess I've dealt with so many bureaucrats irl that the ones in your game seemed nice and reasonable in comparison ๐
So... I've made a Disco Elysium-lite game in 3 days ๐
It's free, playable in browser, it has multiple endings, bureaucratic drama, fire, and at least one character you'll genuinely hate.
I'll talk about the process of making it after I get some sleep. ๐

Played it! That was incredibly immersive for such a short project. Didn't hate any characters though!
An NPC sitting in a procedural interior and holding a cup in her hands.
The first day of the NPC playtest went really well! Almost 300 playtesters joined, lots of great feedback given, and a few bugs already patched.
There's still time to try it out if you haven't already. Just sign up on the Steam page: store.steampowered.com/app/2859220/...

Haha, well you gotta start somewhere :)
This is incredibly cool, especially the branching! Curious to see how they'd look on a more mountainous terrain.
Can't wait to see what you cook up!
NPCs hanging out in the streets of a procedural city.
The city is looking lively today for #screenshotsaturday.

Updated the title screen for the upcoming playtest. Just a few finishing touches left and we're ready to go!

The buildings look much better with the neon lights!
Yesss, love this guy's videos!
I've added little favors you can do for the NPCs to improve your standing with them. They are simple and straightforward tasks, but there will be more complex missions involving the NPCs later on, so this is just the start.

I think I have a new addiction. Can't stop watching this guy's synth videos: www.tiktok.com/@aaronbatzdo...
Nice, thanks for tagging me!
Sure, but then maybe they should've specified that it's ported, not "based on", otherwise it's a bit confusing. Because it looked the same to me, and I couldn't look into the details myself on mobile.
How is this different from Rune's shader? Or is it the same one, just ported to FragCoord?
Oooh these are so cool!
My erosion filter is out! Video, blog post, and shader source.
It emulates erosion without simulation, so it's fast, GPU friendly, and trivial to generate in chunks.

Hah thanks for reminding me how much I love this video.
Well I don't have my own sound setup so I'm always strapped for SFX. So I think I'll get back to you on that ๐
Totally. I'd buy a SFX pack!
New devlog is up, this one is about the work behaviors that I just finished implementing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8aW...

A glowstick that the dog can bite into and spill the contents all over the drummachine. Don't know how safe that would be for the dog, but maybe the dog can do it in a really careful way ๐
A crowded procedural city interior with people sitting and standing around.

A glitch in my citizen distribution system created this extremely crowded interior. Looks fun though!

Hey I'm not complaining. It would be boring if everyone was just nice and reasonable. This post is purely for entertainment value ๐
Thanks!
Haha, thanks. I'm not fishing for compliments by the way, just found that comment funny/out of touch.
Like, yeah, what a loser, couldn't simulate a fully functioning human society in 8 months ๐
