I think they said they are naming one feature after the space craft, and one after someone’s wife? It all sounds very forced, manufactured, and PR driven.

Why are they on the news talking about what they are going to name features on the far side of the moon? One science journalist said the emotional story about one of the names made her cry? So we can just name things without IAU?

It only took around 50 years to get near the moon again, feels a bit embarrassing lol
