it’s not perfect. they obviously could have done better with the casting. i haven’t reached her boymode scenes yet. i’ll let you know what i think about those when i do. but i know in s3 we get lynch’s “fix your hearts or die” speech so i trust that everyone’s hearts are in the right place.

you can instantly tell everything about a character by their reaction to her. truman, who nearly fucked up the palmer case by not believing in supernatural shit, is predictably closed-minded when denise arrives. meanwhile cooper looks like he instantly developed a crush on her!

the last time i watched through this show i hadn’t transitioned yet, so i am looking at this character with a new set of eyes. she’s got the same aura of competence and goodness that the main fbi squad have, plus she has such amazing chemistry with cooper.

it took me like three nights to get through twin peaks s2e10. that episode feels like it takes place in a different world. thankfully, in episode 11 i was rewarded with the introduction of denise, which… wow! i think i really like this character

whenever it tries to recommend me something now it bases it off of the last few videos i had watched before i changed the setting. so it’s only things 13 year old me would watch, like old minecraft let’s plays or gerard way music videos
