Trump and his Administration are absolutely out of their minds. Blustering, inconsistent, incompetent, vengeful: every day that passes damages our country more.

Believe women. Believe survivors. Coming forward to talk about wrenching personal trauma is an extremely difficult experience. Those who do so deserve our full support and belief. We must be able to trust those in positions of power to uphold the highest standards of conduct. Serious allegations of the kind raised today are disqualifying. Rep. Swalwell must withdraw from the Governor’s race immediately. Californians deserve a Governor whose conduct is above suspicion or reproach. The alleged conduct here has no place in our party or our state’s politics.
The incompetent rubes in the Administration started a war with no plan and drove the price of oil through the roof. Gas, food, clothing, heat, and hundreds of other things are rapidly becoming more expensive everywhere.
And the worst may be yet to come.
Where’s that cheap gas you promised, Donald?
What is meaningfully different about this statement than the ravings of history’s worst mass murderers?
Is this the America we want? A roving, unaccountable killing machine, lumbering about the globe like a technological Genghis Khan?

I am relieved the two downed aviators inside Iran were rescued. The U.S. military’s tactical competence saved the day. But the strategic idiocy of continuous bombing will mean more shootdowns. As in Vietnam, that may mean U.S. POWs.
How will they be treated as Trump and Hegseth scream “no quarter?”
The exact same gangster tactics that we condemn when the Russians use them against Ukraine. This is a thug’s idea of war: no goal, no strategy, only murder and punishment without discrimination. The only goal is suffering.
