I've added a new feature to Scribbe: editable note titles.
Version 1.7.0, released this week, gives users the ability to change the title of a note.
Previously, AI generated a title for a note, & you were stuck with it. No more! This one was driven by repeated user requests.

Finding Claude often performs better with its new web search tool turned off. Its internal knowledge seems more reliable than the mix of internal knowledge + web search results.
Creation pipeline: HeyGen to create talking head video. Send to editor ($30 on Fiverr) with b-roll library and instructions to cover the speaker when necessary.
AI still struggles with getting lip motions right and being able to produce video with enough facial expressiveness to seem natural.
The solution to deal with this - use b-roll or popups to cover the AI avatar's face where the expression gets off (example below).

Just shipped a new PDF export feature. Notes and transcripts can now be exported as PDFs through the iOS share sheet.

Working today on a new landing page for Scribbe & loving Bolt. It has been able to do 80% of the work for me. The design it came up with was pretty good (and responsive). Now it's just about polishing the code.

I can code it, but design is not my strong suit. Want something high fidelity with scroll animations, etc.

OpenAI Shipmas Day 12: o3 Announced
- OpenAI released o3 into safety testing, not preview / general availability.
- Outperforms their last model, o1, on a number of benchmarks.
- A couple of those: SWE (coding benchmark): 72% for o3 vs. 49% for o1. GPQA Diamond (Ph.D. science): 88% vs. 78%.
