Zorans is a dark indigo and he does wear a lot of it if he can.
Peppers is maroon and if he not wearing any, there's a problem.
Ammys is a pale sage green- she wears a lot of moss so she def gets a lot of it!
Nyx's is blue and definitely peppers the color in- but actually loves gold even if they don't wear a lot of it.
Lanata and Vesryn both like clementine orange- they won't wear it, but it reminds them of simpler times.

Them pretending to be horses is just for ease of travel. Lot easier to go places on a horse than a huge people killer. They still eat meat though and can VERY MUCH TALK. Trills peryton traits do leak over, as he was young when he was split and wasn't taught properly. Melody is perfect.
Trill made a bond with Lanata when he was found by her and helped him recover.
Melody invaded a household, killed the people inside and disguised herself as the woman of the house to greet the family's son as he came home. Hoid was NOT fooled tho and she found him funny enough to stick around.
Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan, and while they are matriarchal pack creatures, fledglings can get separated from the pack(in the case of Trill) or larger females may split off to form their own territory/packs(Melody).
They have the curious ability to transform into whatever they've eaten the magic/soul of, and will often do so in order to hunt individuals or groups. Often sadistic, W.P.s have been recorded sending their young into family households to act as children for recon before going for the kill.
Wingless Perytons: Top predators in Hellinox and technically Beasts of balance that were created by the Wilds to consume magic and return it to the area.
W.Perytons store magic in their feathers and use them as threat displays and a way to disrupt OTHER magic.

They have one piercing in the inner ears and two on the outer; a hoop and sun like earring with a cloud. They have little hearts in their eyes and have an eyebrow piercing, septum, two on the side and angel bites. They wear three necklaces, one with a heart, peace sign and beaded one close to the neck and wear a top that is tied like a halter.
