I hate immigration discourse bc it always devolves into the problem being some people are too morally good to be deported compared to whatever racist caricature of bad immigrants fox news is peddling that week, but actually the problem is just deportation

ICE cannot increase its enforcement of people with deportable convictions much bc they were already deporting almost all of them
How many non citizen "sex traffickers and violent criminals" do people think are out there 1) at all and 2) that ICE was ignoring previously?? This chart shows enforcement has gone up for everyone there are just a lot more people with no criminal record who exist
