Two very different books. The Rollins one is a good read with interesting insights into his technical practice and philosophy. The Mingus one, totally not what I thought it was going to be, mainly porn, and very little about jazz, though an interesting view into Mingus’s life, mind and sex life (?!)
I wrote an article for @wildlife_sound about hearing loss, wearing hearing aids and how a whole new world of sound opened up to me.
