Oooh, interesting! We have burn & other status effects, so dying with them could be interesting!!

Stealth mechanic win, using local and global name variables I managed to beat the prefab unlinking issue I was facing, so now my stealth setup is better than ever.

This is sick, I think that would totally add to the impact, I think physics chunks would work the best, with a blood trail & splatter on impacting the ground.
I may make that the default, instead of the current PG enemy falling down animation. Or a combo, fall down -> chunks, like Conker’s 🤔

But yes, a lot is trying to tie in synergies between spells, and the tower abilities. And trying to find a good mix, as the tower and player should l be equally strong as the run progresses, which has been tough to do.
It’s easy to balance the player, but the tower sometimes lags in development.
A lot has been on the balancing of the game, mainly some spells invalidating the challenge of learning to play. This comes in the form of certain auto-targeting spells, max-health stacking, etc.
Some is coming from a push to return to tower defense, as it’s morphed into an action game recently.

From a developer perspective we want to keep the system simple, but we feel like 10 options for abilities limits the amount of synergies the player can find, so we’re going to fix that!
