I’ve been dabbling cautiously with Copilot and MagicSchoolAI as the only person left in a leadership/advisory role but I’m no expert and don’t have enough time to dedicate to it.

Checking each slide, resizing text and adding alt text to all the clip art took me THREE HOURS for just the eleven new kindergarten lessons. I’m sure translating will take the same. They are leaps and bounds better than the old lessons, but still… so much work.

Also there is no Spanish available yet so I will have to copy and translate a second set for our immersion schools 🙄

I’m loving the updated Common Sense Media lessons but they don’t meet MN legal requirements for accessibility! Every single slide deck has to be updated with font size and alt text on the images. It’s better than starting from scratch but also will take several day to get them all teacher ready.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.
