the last time this happened, i left one in the lobby of a hotel in memphis and a friend somehow found it

it’s apparently impossible for me to travel without losing a water bottle — i just had to pay for a hotel to ship it back to me because i left it in the lobby 🤦🏼‍♀️

A runner has to begin loop 4 by the 36 hour mark in order to continue. Neither Damian nor Sébastien will finish loop 3 in time to begin loop 4; however, if they complete loop 3 within 40 hours they will be credited with a Fun Run. #BM100

Least #BM100 Loop 2 finishers of all time:

1. 1996 - 2 (of 18 loop 1 finishers)
2. 2021 - 2 (of 17)
3. 2003 - 3 (of 25)
4. 2005 - 4 (of 18)
5. 2026 - 4 (of 12)
6. 2025 - 4 (of 10)

Overall average is just over 8

The 2026 Barkley Marathons began with one of the strongest fields ever. The starting field came from 15 Counties as well as 15 States, and included ten women. The course seemed not to care. Over 70% of the field is done. #BM100
