Psychopathic behavior to have your test pattern go B->G->R instead of R->G->B

My major takeaway from the Epic Universe "Blue Carpet" stream was "wow, clean audio of Celestial Park music!" -- I ran a script to detect all the segments with clean audio and stitched them together: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_sv...
@parkermarley.bsky.social do you know?
A sarcastic quote retweet from me referencing an excerpt of a NYT article. The article excerpt reads: > Mr. Woodbury has still-secret plans for significant attractions themed to "Wicked," another Universal movie. "When I saw it, my first reaction was, 'This is a theme park waiting to happen,'" he said. My commentary reads: > We'll take you to Munchkinland. The Munchkins can sing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and it'll play like Small World. Then we can use a trap door and smoke effects to have Elpheba show up. Let's make her a really impressive animatronic.
Man, I thought this was a good tweet! Maybe Bluesky will appreciate it...

A+ headline
There's a good Mike Lindel joke in there too
The efficiency gains are huge! ...What I don't understand is why this is causing a run on hardware stocks. Do people really not think that implementers will want to take advantage of the multiplicative growth potential of efficiency + investing more in hardware like they were already planning?
(this is not financial advice)
Maybe a hot take but I'm gonna buy the NVDA dip lol. Jevons paradox says demand will increase as we take advantage of newfound efficiency!
A sequence where it goes from:
Pure Spotlights -> Spotlights and LED's start to twinkle -> LED's take over and the ambient points of light animations play -> the synced-to-music "show" plays -> lights out, spotlights return, cycle repeats
would be cool
Careful, you might get promoted
There was an issue with the "Into the Inklands" set where rarer cards were not put into booster packs at the right rates. This has led to a big glut of Inklands packs and stuff like this Costco bundle (which is a good deal for beginners!) and why WoD has a bajillion of these & no other set
I feel like whenever I go up to Toledo or Dahlia Lounge I encounter at LEAST one family who complains about the elevator
Just tried it -- it's excellent!
It's CRAZY that Donald's Dino Bash lasted till the end of Dinoland
On the way back from Europe a few weeks ago, we had to get from Boston back home to Orlando. I had heard that Delta was starting a partnership with Shake Shake to have cheeseburgers as one of the first class meals.
...did I spend the rest of my SkyMiles to upgrade and take advantage of this? ...yes
Remember the big monorail playset display in Once Upon a Toy? Probably my favorite thing at Downtown Disney as a kid
Any technical problem that you can reasonably turn into a language task it's really, really good at...reasoning, not so much. We're getting there with o1 and other players though!
And I think that's an empowering thing for EVERYONE! I've loved seeing the cast of @mcparks.us without previous programming experience use it to take ideas in their heads and turn them into working prototypes, while igniting a curiosity to learn _how_ they work and kickstart a new passion!
So a lot of it is helping me get past the mental block of FEELING like I can't do stuff -- which in my lived experience can be just as bad as actually being unable!
I've also found that I can learn a lot better when my learning journey starts with a conversation I can go fact check rather than starting with "Google-fu" (especially as Google has, imho, gotten way worse at helping me learn over the last 10 years)
As someone with ADHD (particularly bad "blank page" anxiety) it's invaluable to short-circuit the anguish between the "I know what I want to do but can't get started" stage to "I have a working prototype, I can iterate from here" - and often I see a way of accomplishing the task I hadn't thought of!
😮 I've been talking about doing this for years! Glad to see the professionals have been on it this whole time
Shout-out to AutoNation for calling me to schedule my first engine oil change in my ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Meanwhile, for FREE at a Christmas market in Basel, I saw two animatronic moose/reindeer sing a song in German about Glühwein
And to you!
