This morning I had the pleasure of touring the Westminster Senior Residences – and it did not disappoint.
After more than a decade of planning, Westminster now has 50 brand-new, affordable homes for seniors, located right behind the Town's Senior Center.
And thanks to Rep. Scarsdale and Senator Cronin's office for their partnership every step of the way.
My job is to make sure towns like this aren't left behind, and today was proof that when we fight for them, we can deliver.

Too often, federal infrastructure dollars flow to big cities while smaller communities get overlooked. Ashby has 4,200 residents. They deserve safe roads just as much as anyone.
Thanks to $3.3 million in federal funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law's Highway Safety Improvement Program, the intersection has been fully rebuilt: new pavement, better visibility, updated signage, and improved traffic control. Accidents are already down.
In 2021, I visited Ashby and witnessed firsthand the dangerous intersection of Greenville and Turnpike Rds. with town officials who wanted it fixed. Today, I went back to celebrate the new and improved intersection.
Last week, Trump said we couldn't help families with child care because of his war in Iran.
Now that there's a ceasefire, will Republicans finally focus on working families here at home?
