I welcome the recent announcement of @fabtcg.com of the Singleton, 100 card deck CC format. I think this will drastically reduce the consistency and NPE experience power cards. I also welcome the ability to play my hero card as an ally on the table, so that I can tap my hero to attack for 4.

Cardboard villains and none of the intelligence, plotting, or intelligence that made the show about more than just violence. Honestly I’ve no idea why they made this. The show ended well enough, and if it wasn’t an attempt to pitch a spin off. They don’t have the writers… 3/3

Tommys son feels like he is a gang leader in a whole 1 scene in the entire film. Then his gang evaporates off somewhere and he starts running around like an idiotic scared child. Which to be fair he is.
So we are torn between “when is Tommy going to wake up” and a plot with no subtlety, 2/3

If you’re tempted by the new #peakyblinders film. Don’t be. Cardboard writing, 45 minutes attempting to establish the weight of tommys character in a weirdly messianic way that ignores the five season of tv and a weird absence of extras or like the feeling of power. 1/3

The issue for a lot of content creators is the jump from cheap face video camera to compelling set up good enough to record board games the way the audience expects is quite a bit of cash

Yea agree. The fatigue pleides one I bought is great. Consistent updates and commitment to updating it from when it released through to PEN release. Matchup notes detailed and lots of thought and testing.

Others… not so much.

I’ll definitely buy one though. Outsource the work.

Feels like there is still a disconnect between what the game needs in terms of reprints and what it is getting. But then also boxes of compendium are wildly variable on the value so it’s a poor opening experience for the casual player. So without shelters etc the increased msrp isn’t justifiable 2/2

So like idk feeling a bit mixed about PEN now that it’s out. Like reprints haven’t dropped prices as much as needed. JW actually came out and said that he wanted to avoid another “felling of the crown” and I actually said “you mean when that underprinted overprice card became affordable?” 1/2

I continue to distract myself from finishing my spearhead this time with a bust.

Well I should say the whole spearhead is getting the same skin as the bust.

The real thing I can’t decide is whether to add some pink to the models or whether to double down on the stoney grey aesthetic with blues.

Battlegrounds look amazing #fabtcg continues to smash things out of the park. Participation tournament packs as well!

I guess the only concern is that tickets for those events will sell out super fast unless you have a mega store. Like dark sphere in London could do 100+ but how many others can?
