Finished the pages for the second of three October Park launch titles. Inner and outer cover spreads locked, so the author will have one more look, then off this chapbook will go to the printer.

"All authors are using AI now."
Not true! A lot of us are using those conversations we overheard with your bestie about "What I got you gotta get and put it in ya."
My all-time favourite. (With the best seance scene ever put to film.)
That's a gorgeous visual. All the best for a fab launch.
My sisters?
Scissor.
Like how lost love/breakup songs "Best of My Love" and "I Will Always Love You" often get played at weddings...
There's always something interesting to read at the library. When I saw that someone had undertaken a study of the century-old gossip rag, "Broadway Brevities and Society Gossip," published by @mcgillqueensup.bsky.social, well, count my interest immediately piqued. Looking forward to diving in.
Make two backups, especially of any creative work. It's well worth the effort. #justincase
Wow. Toronto isn't frozen solid for the first time in . . . how many days? ππ± (It's February, betch, wait a few hours.)
The coldest days bring the bluest skies. Have to get up from my desk and go out once in a while.
Yay! Fake outrage!
I inherited some Brandstetter books about 25 years ago when a friend was doing a major clear-out before an apartment move. Sunk into Fadeout one evening and didn't come up for air until the next morning. Brilliant stuff.
Today in Stupid Shit Trump Says . . .
Just a bit of snow fell in Toronto. π
The beauty of the dining room table is I can spread out whilst writing in longhand.
You want to read a realistic presentation of what happens after the end of the world as itβs currently being drawn up? I wrote a pretty good one. You can get it most places, on e-book too, and Hoopla has it now.

Make a Bond film casual.
DR. WELL... PERHAPS... LET'S THINK ABOUT IT
This little publishing house project of mine is coming along nicely. One title down, two to go to finish the proof-of-concept. I've also read a couple of great stories by writer friends that I may want to add to the upcoming first year of my publishing program.
*there's (Okay, BlueSky, we need an edit function, yes? π)
Whether I'm at home or in a neighbourhood cafΓ©, there always reading, writing, and editing on the table. @glreview.bsky.social
It just frigging opened!
Took seven years to place this little bugger. Glad that it finally found a fab home.
I wonder if the follow-up question is meant to be a (near-)mockery of "writer" as a medical condition . . . ?
Mr. Jones! Mr. Jones! Frankie and Perry just aren't in it. You're my swooner dreamboat lover boy!
Bugs was, literally, my first drag queen. Still the champ!
What, did they bribe him with some more gold? I can't keep track now.
It's Krampusnacht, y'all. Remember to be good or Krampus will swat your wicked bottom!
