It’s just the same song and dance since VAR has been introduced: a lack of consistency. That has and always will be a complaint with officiating. But at least before we could chalk it down to human error in a fast game. Now with video review every second can be scrutinized which is a bit… excessive

I know 😅 if there is a season to have to balance CL fixtures I guess it is this one…
This season is so tight our bad form is being let off by everyone being a lot more competitive this year. Seven teams below us currently could jump us for a European spot in one week. While top 4 isn’t our likely objective this year, top 6/7 should be. It is going to be a stressful season it seems!
At worst we end game week 16 in 7th…5 pts off third….we HAVE to kick on over these next three games…NO UCL games equal rest for all teams…its now or never in this gift of a season!

I can’t remember the exact wording VAR used but something like “if you watch the pull at full speed it is quick and fleeting and is therefore not a foul.”
So ridiculous that for the rest of the game one of the commentators kept ranting every time a foul was called for a pull 😂
