If they succeeded, there would barely be a party left for them to control. And succeed or not, eventually they would fall out with one another and leave or split. Which is what is happening now.

For Grassroots Left to dominate it, Your Party would have to remain small enough for their few-in-number, but highly-organised and active cadre members to control it.
Their tactics have been to disrupt and smear, which has effectively (temporarily) deterred mass membership.

Grassroots Left - hostile to Corbynism, but who have tried to control Your Party - formed from a coalition of small revolutionary parties and factions (SWP, CPGB & others), most of whom traditionally hate one another.
But they saw Your Party as a potential recruiting ground.
