I’m at a Take 5 to get an oil change, and there are two women working. One of them is clearly in charge, guiding the one guy employee who must be a trainee like a total queen. I expect my car to be able to fly or something by the time this boss team is done with it.

Apparently high school students have been using pieces from my book to perform at speech competitions, and I heard from a teacher this morning that two kids made it through to the state-level with “Carline” and “The Hands Remember” and it’s just the best thing ever! #writing #flashfiction
