Waking up at 3am in Saskatchewan to watch the great Sandra Schmirler win the first-ever curling gold at the Nagano Olympics is a core memory of my childhood.

We can all sleep when these Olympics are over.

Just so everyone knows that doing a PhD in econ doesn’t make one rational. I was watching the game in office but after we went down 2-1 I walked all the way back to the house because Canada is undefeated when I watch games at home…

Feels like beating a dead horse at this point but I think this misses the distinction between rules violations — the penalty for which, at worse, is having a rock removed — and outright cheating.
