Watercolor painting of a coastal scene. Tall evergreens come right up to the very rocky shore. Someone was courteous and left the way clear for the bodies to float through! It's either early morning or late evening, a dominantly warm scene of warm yellows and cool purples.

Using the techniques I've learned in various classes, I am pleased with my progress. :)

I was trying out my new Plein air watercolour easel over the weekend. This is just behind my house in Dover. I took some liberties with the path.. Anyhoo very pleased with the easel. Oh it's Dover Castle in the distance.

Picture of my sketchbook depicting 2 watercolor paintings of trees in a golden field- the page divided vertically with a painting on each side. How many people have died to fill up that cemetery, just over the hill? Why, it's fit to burst! Maybe it's late summer or early autumn, the colors are primarily warm yellows, browns, and ochres with dark trunks and branches in dark brown and blue.
