I think if you put "influencer" in your resume or bio, every child under the age of 10 should get to hit you like a pinata

Wildlife trade drives animal-to-human pathogen transmission over 40 years

Wildlife trade drives animal-to-human pathogen transmission over 40 years

New in @science.org ‼️ In the most comprehensive study to date, we show that wildlife trade is driving animal-to-human zoonotic spillover at a planetary scale, with +1 spillover per host every 10 years. Live animal markets and illegal trade pose even greater risks. 🔓 www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Mamdani is not just filling the potholes with the crew. He's creating a visual and personal reminder of the dignity inherent in all of these anonymous government jobs.

NASA: Artemis II Artemis I will be the first in a series of increasingly complex missions to build a sustained human presence at the Moon for decades to come.

The NASA #Artemis II tracking website: www.nasa.gov/missions/art...

It includes a nice moveable visualization of the Moon, the spacecraft, the Sun, and the Earth, so you can get a feel for the relative positions of them all.

OK this is cool. The first time humans have seen the whole Mare Orientale on the far side of the Moon with their own eyes. See flic.kr/p/2s5HA2X 🧪🔭

so potentially dumb #F1 thought, because the most complicated car thing I've ever done is change break rotors: from a purely technical standpoint, the "fix" for the regs is to bring back the MGU-H, no?

A rectangular piece of bone with a pair of skirted figures with high wings, carrying torches side-by-side. A small window is visible at the top.

One of the officers on the Mary Rose owned this small bone panel featuring figures dressed as angels carrying torches.

Similar panels are known from caskets made in Venice, and along with other continental objects, so it is thought that this particular gentleman was Italian.

Yes, hello, is that God? Yeah, hi. I have a complaint. You gave me this brain that’s designed for finding berries and avoiding lions and now people are ‘just circling back’ to see if we can ‘move the needle’ on ‘key initiatives’? NONE of those things are berries.
