We were trying to get into Peacemaker. There were two chutes of people in front of us at 3:40 and the panel started at 3:30 so we called it and left 😔
Huge number of people left hall H after the Ryan Gosling panel and they haven’t let any of the ADA line in. They said they’re actively looking for seats but can’t find any. Absolute bullshit. We’ve waited 5+ hours for this panel and will miss it 😓

Five rows of small plaster townhouses laid on a dark wood table. There’s three different versions of townhouse and two copies of each. Each row has differing levels of detail and air bubbles in the plaster.
I wrote a pretty long IG post about what worked & what didn’t in making these from silicone molds & my results were: spray Windex on the silicone & pour plaster while Windex is still damp. Tap/shake molds vigorously for 2-3 minutes until air bubbles stop rising to the surface.

Wow hey Bsky it’s been a while and I’ve done 3 soda firings and taken a mold making class this year. Most recently I’ve been working on making molds of these little row houses but trying to get a good cast from the silicone before I make the mold for slip casting.

YES. If you mask everywhere- or at least in the most crowded places that people cannot avoid, like stores- then it places masks in the category of Everyday Clothing. It makes it SO much harder to ban when at least a decent chunk of people wear them.

As an early birthday present to me, we went to see my two favorite hockey teams Flyers v. Kraken play and I got to watch warm-ups from the front row. SO fun to see the guys I’m usually watching on TV after 10pm EST up close and playing around. Also really fun to see the @seattlekraken.com win! 🦑
