Instead of asking chatgpt, why not ask a librarian? You'll get real answers and they won't tell you to kill yourself.

This is the sample ballot for the Democratic primary in May. There are seven candidates for governor alone. I have a lot of internet searches to make.
#OneGoodThing that happened today was that I found the sample ballots are up at sos.ga.gov.
I printed one out so I can research candidates and whoo-boy, I’ve got a lot of work to do.
#OneGoodThings that happened today was finding out this piece of good news:

Regret to inform everyone that Peter Magyar beat the world’s smartest illiberal populist in large measure by working incredibly hard for 2 straight years, meaning the rest of us are just going to have to get off our asses and do shit rather than just complaining.
This is the screen behind the ticket desks at the High Museum. It is displaying the sign for the event that I’m at. ISAMU NOGUCHI I AM NOT A DESIGNER OPENING WEEKEND PARTY
#OneGoodThing that happened today is that I got out of the house and into the High Museum!
I hear ya. Strangely, that doesn’t bother me nearly as much as people saying “I’m so OCD!” Claiming conditions you don’t even have only weakens the perception of how serious these conditions are.

#OneGoodThing that happened this morning was that I figured out the jiggery-pokery for making my personal domain my handle on Bluesky! I went back and forth between which domain to use, but settled on the one that matched the handle I was using. I should probably update the domain now.
#OneGoodThing that happened yesterday was that I saw an #MST3K episode I'd never seen before--Ring of Terror. It's just weird enough that I maybe could have watched it straight, but Joel and the bots made it sublimely hilarious.
I know AI psychosis isn't an official DSM diagnosis (yet), but from what we've seen so far, this man is getting way high on his own supply.

At some point, I want to roll up my sleeves and fix it myself, but in the meantime, it's a mess.
My meds give me dry mouth, so water is a constant. I had leftover dinner from Easter, so I didn’t have to think too hard about food. Should maybe have eased up on the coffee, tho.
Thank you for the reminder to persist.
They pulled the same stunt with the Tea Party, acting as if they were somehow separate from the Republican Party.
Re: the 14th district election here in GA - Just because something would make a great triumphant moment in a movie doesn't mean it's destined to happen. #VOTE!
Hey Georgia friends—if this is your election, get out there & vote!

Any time I ran into someone talking about how the Hero's Journey is the structure of ALL stories ever written (and, yes, there were people who said this) my first thought was "Um, The Metamorphosis?"
It was funny how they pretty much memoryholed Second Life when they were talking about Zuck’s version of the exact same thing.
Back in the early aughts, one of my favorite Second Life sims was run by stoners who convinced a cafe in Oklahoma that a virtual replica of their space was worth paying money to maintain. When the cafe realized it wasn’t actually helping sales, they pulled the plug and the island went under.
Depends on what kind of Catholicism they were raised in. I grew up in a liberal, college-campus congregation and it was baffling to come across the kind of conservative Catholicism that most people think the Church is.
I kinda remember VRML (I had a friend who worked with it) but I definitely remember Second Life and all the brouhaha about it which was COMPLETELY IDENTICAL to the hype that was going around when Zuck created his cartoony, legless version.
Expect nothing. That way, everything will surpass your expectations.
This is my balcony. It is bordered by a low, beige-painted wall that I’m pretty much stuck with because I live in a condominium. The floor is mostly exposed concrete with the tattered remnants of a paint job in greenish blue, which was already falling apart when I moved in twenty years ago. Against one wall is a set of two off-white plastic chairs with a small matching table between them. Against another are two planters with freshly-combed dirt in them. To truly appreciate this picture, you have to understand what it looked beforehand. The concrete floor was buried under heaps of leaves that had been sitting there so long that the bottom layer had decomposed to dirt. The planters had previously been filled with leaves, weeds, and the corpse of a tomato plant. It’s not spotless, but it’s definitely much better than it was.
#OneGoodThing that happened today was that I returned my balcony to its former glory. (More details in alt-text.)
Converts have a tendency towards zealotry because you can't half-ass it as a convert the way you can if you were baptized at birth.
COMIC STRIP by B Deutsch Frame 1: A woman sits on the exam table in a doctor's office. She is holding her left arm, which is detached from her body, and talking to the doctor. DOCTOR: Hi, I'm Doctor Douglas. What seems to be the problem? PATIENT: I woke up this morning and my arm had fallen off. Frame 2: DOCTOR: Hmmm...First thing, let's get you on a diet. PATIENT: (annoyed) A diet? To reconnect my arm? Frame 3: DOCTOR: Your weight is the real issue here...How many times a day do you eat fast food? PATIENT: (angry) I'm here about my ARM! Frame 4: Later, the irritated doctor sits at her desk in her office, typing on her laptop: "Patient was uncooperative..."
#OneGoodThing that happens today is, well, it's Good Friday isn't it?
A blessed day for those who see it as sacred.
Happy Friday for those who don't.
#OneGoodThing that happened today was that I got my taxes taken care of for free with a minimum of fuss. Hooray!

Article 25 gives the Vice President and the cabinet the power to declare him unfit for office. While it does allow for Congress to establish additional protocols, they have never done so. It’s up to his toadies to decide, and we can safely guess what they’ll choose.
