Today I wrote a letter of recommendation for a former colleague who was exceptionally good at their job. I did not use AI. It was all me. There’s no way anyone could interpret it other than a personal statement from me.

My parents were so awesome. They were happy with me switching from pre-med to marine biology. We tried and partially succeeded to be tolerant parents with our kids, too.

A few years ago, after many decades riding spd’s, I joined the recent trend of spiked flat pedals, and I love the flexibility it gives me on my gravel bike. Biking while wearing shoes suitable for streets or trails really is great.
