Swear to god. 😇They were terrible books. The only reason people liked them is they were the first stories in the setting since Marvel cancelled the comic.
I had a rough night's sleep last night, so I'll blame that for me mixing up Sleepers with Flatliners. Not encroaching decrepitude.
Skorls for his skorl throne.
Tweet by “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth: “The War Department is once again restoring freedom to our Joint Force. We are discarding the mandatory flu vaccine requirement, effective immediately.” Below there is a video of the announcement for his many, many illiterate fans
Behind Hegseth’s big stupid face, a painting can be seen.
The painting is of George Washington crossing the Delaware. It is by Emanuel Leutze.
An article from the National Parks Service: Smallpox, Inoculation, and the Revolutionary War Boston National Historical Park During the 1700s, smallpox raged through the American colonies and the Continental Army. Smallpox impacted the Continental Army severely during the Revolutionary War, so much so that George Washington mandated inoculation for all Continental soldiers in 1777. Just fifty-six years earlier, in 1721, Bostonian doctors and clergy introduced the procedure to the American colonies. Without the vision and determination of these early Bostonians in normalizing inoculation, Washington may not have made the decision to mandate inoculation for the Continental Army. Though it was a controversial action, many historians credit the medical mandate with the colonists' victory in the Revolutionary War and the creation of the United States of America.
That’s heartbreaking to learn. I always liked these very symtylistic ads.
the british crown, the US' rejection of the metric system, atlantis not being on any map, the presence of martians among us, the state of the electric car, Steve Guttenberg's stardom, cave fish's blindness, and the winners of the Oscars are all decided upon by the sacred order of the stonecutters
I just know they’ll show it on Disney + 2-3 weeks before Doomsday drops. And a dozen reapers will do “ten things you missed in the added Endgame footage.”
I will never forget the experience of seeing LEAVING NEVERLAND at its Sundance premiere. For @avclub.com I wrote about a devastating, definitive documentary about surviving sexual abuse that cannot be erased.
Check out a first look at Disney’s ASL re-animated songs from 'Encanto,' 'Frozen 2,' and 'Moana 2,' coming to Disney+ next week. The studio reworks key musical sequences using performance-driven signing.

Infowars/Onion combo logo in rainbow saying “I support the onion’s hostile media takeover.”
It’s finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.
In 1964, Groucho went to East Berlin with a group that included his radio show director Robert Dwan and his 16-year-old daughter Judith Dwan Hallet. They visited the village of Dornum, where his mother Minnie had been born. and discovered that all the Jewish graves there had been obliterated by the Nazis. Groucho hired a car with a chauffeur, and told the driver to take the group to the bunker where Adolf Hitler was said to have committed suicide. Wearing his trademark beret he climbed the debris and then launched himself, unsmiling, into a frenetic Charleston dance routine. The dance on Hitler's supposed grave lasted a couple of minutes. "Nobody applauded," Hallet recalled. "Nobody laughed."
Hey, it's Hitler's birthday.
From “The Simpsons” house genius John Swartzwelder, interviewed in The New Yorker by Mike Sacks
Wanted to show you this post in English because it’s so good and we truly are a global village
hey friends, if you can, please help my bud get things wrapped up with his dad and stay housed himself in the meantime 🙏
This is a really good recipe, if you'd like to try some lima beans today.
Well done to The Revue. Nice try to Eyesore.
It's not about a superhero calamity?
The cover for Devil in a Blue Dress.
The cover for Captain Blood
Dug into a couple of my new Criterion discs. Devil in a Blue Dress is a great ride and I wish we had a whole Easy Rawlins franchise. Captain Blood is a hoot and I look forward to many rewatches.
I loved this game. Played in a cockpit version once.
Jodi is one of the absolute best ones and she and her family could really use your help if you can spare it.
