Not sure if this will help, but the good news is even just in-division there's a pretty good template for a team that had a disastrous 'Whelp I guess the window is now closed' season with a truly horrid bullpen (-2.1 fWAR in 2024) who managed to turn it around pretty well in one year/winter...

Gee, if only the Jays coaching staff showed *any* ability to elevate players to be the best version of themselves. Imagine if we could be turning guys like Clement/Lukes into viable platoon options, Barger into a real impact player, or elevating pitchers like Lauer/Little/Fluharty. Just imagine.

@dvr.bsky.social To your point in today's show about the Jays pen, I don't know if they are there *today*, but I do think it's very possible adding a Clase/Duran/Jax/Miller type arm is more doable then a true ace, and adding one of them to the BP of Hoffman/Yimi/YRod/Little might be that juggernaut
