The Mircea fragment doesn’t really reflect my experience in teaching but I do recognize some Monday morning moments when this desolate thought pattern might be present momentarily. I do only substitute and part time teaching which really is a luxurious position.
Done with another semester of teaching. (Text from Solenoid by Mircea Cǎrtǎrescu)

I photographed this on a walk, now I am really wondering what it actually is.
2017 was the worst year of my life. Eliane Radigues music truly helped me through it. I remember days just spent on the floor, letting her sound waves wash through me. Taking me into bright and dark and bright again places. Giving me courage and curiosity to look and explore depths. Thank you ♾️
Regret not buying this from Tokyo
Picture of a poem by Stonehouse: I'm a poor but happy follower of the Way whatever happens takes care of my needs last night the west wind blew down an old tree at daybreak firewood covered the ground windblown white silk wreathed the red scarps dewdrop pearls adorned the green cliffs my survival has always depended on what's present why should I tire myself out making plans (Translation by Red Pine)
