Hoi (Amiga, 1992) was our predecessor to Moon Child. We were relatively inexperienced when we made it, and made some playability mistakes, but I think it does radiate the sheer fun we had creating it. Whenever Reinier or I came up with a wacky idea, we just added it.

Welp. With the weather as it is right now, no wonder the network tanked last night.
Self-appointed "Blender Guru" is pushing Ai hard. Funny, he deleted his NFT pushes because those make him look stupid. Yet he doesn't remove the blender tutorial where he casually laments you can't say the F slur anymore. He's the worst. Anyone learning blender can and should do better than the 🍩.
Having received so much love for our good old #MoonChild game, we are happy to give love back to the game community by releasing the Moon Child source files + assets.

there's still quite a bit of work left before i can release it, but it shouldnt take too much time. the moon child pc port is REAL
Think the main thing is that the weather makes my network really wonky. Had a network monitor open and was tracking the bitrate. It died twice in stream and I figured out that the network was stable for roughly 10 minutes at a time. Will have to talk to my ISP about it.
No Raid out this time, Had an intermittent stream with disconnects and issues. Managed a few textures in the stream and started planning out the rest.

Did a test run of where I'm going in Super Metroid. Turns out I have everything possible to clean out Norfair (apart from a specific Missile Upgrade that @zelos1826.bsky.social knows about - Yes, THAT ROOM) and get the needed upgrades for starting the surface climb.
Next week will be interesting.
