Driving to work along Summit, not really listening to radio. Slowing, because herd/school/murder/gaggle of turkeys on both sides of street. Story about sandhill cranes airs audio of crane chatter just as I’m in the thick of the flock.

My favorite part of commuting to work is stopping to let the turkeys do their thing. Never seen other drivers get impatient. It’s just, “Turkey crossing. Okay. I got 5 minutes for that.”
