“ Bank of England “ pub will be familiar to many who pass it by tram or on foot to the Etihad Stadium/ co op arena . Not been opened for many years unfortunately

Still not impossible but arsenal are really going to have to blow up big time to lose it now . It was nice to see city totally run them ragged second half . Arsenal offered very little after the first 15 minutes

I am not a huge fan of the series but quite enjoyed the film , watching it in a cinema added to the enjoyment

Covid robbed us fans of the farewell to the greatest city player in the modern era . The pre season match is far too sensible an idea to gain traction

Think he did . I do know Neil’s brother died around 1971 which understandably badly affected his form .

Is the young from wilbraham school on the Manchester team not Neil Young ? Later to find fame at Maine Road? Would make it earlier than 67 ?

My favourite spot , corner between kippax and north stand . Funny thing was when you could drink pints on the terraces not many bothered including myself - probably due to the fact the draught beer was greenalls !!

He is weak and spineless and what little bits of “ decency “ he has shown are overshadowed by his pathetic behaviour towards Israel and the car crash that was Mandelson . Just two of several examples of his ineptitude btw, if Streeting succeeds him it will only be more of the same unfortunately

A labour friend of Israel would not have won in a constituency that is 40% Muslim .

Kinnell I hope you are right ! A scruffy 1-0 will do for me . City’s record there is beyond abysmal

I was there and don’t recall anyone else being on with them
( it was a very long time ago though ! )I do however remember that there were probably no more than about 50 people in the audience and I for one wasn’t particularly impressed ,although I did “ get it “
about a year later!
