I know it’s not a competition, but we have the best bluebell wood. #bluebells
Champagne socialist or politics of envy. The right are great at trite.
I do still like The Nephlim album and a couple of other tracks. I had the opposite with the Jesus and Mary Chain - pretended I liked them then, but didn’t and now I love them.
They allowed the same thing to happen to them, after witnessing its impact on the Tory party. Crazy.
I think some games need the immersion from realistic graphics. Other games have art managers instead of art directors.
Every time I read that George Soros lie, I’m reminded about David Aaronovitch writing extensively about how insidious the Soros antisemitic trope was, and then handwaving it away when Joyce used it her book.
Not great in tea. Just saying.
People and their little snide shaming about perfectly normal eating can gtf.
Listen to Professor Higgins here! My boys don’t even bother with the first part - ‘going pub’, ‘going gym’ is standard round here.
Saw a vid about a guy shaving off his beard and surprising his gf - and it made me wonder - with the prevalence of beards, how many women are married/with longterm partners, and have never actually seen their faces?
Yeah, I agree. It was my example of a non working, simplistic, populist policy, that has been embraced by (I assume) parties that aren’t apparently populist. And a counter example to those who say greens are just populist.

Should have posted this a couple of days ago - a pint of Arise - Burning Sky’s gorgeous pale ale. #blueskybeer

Labour supporter huh?
Shit Tzu
Especially when we pay biz dev and product to do that.
I almost ran over Caroline Lucas once, as she darted across the road in front of me.
I dislike parties that engage in insulting, over simplistic populism too.
I enjoyed the journalistic over-simplification of left/right populism to critique political over-simplification.
I guess that’s why doing a journey/walk etc the first time is always longer than the second time.
I guess there is anti-Westminster tone to this, but it wasn’t at the level ‘the elite/the poor/the immigrants/those with different values’ are you enemy we get from reform? Which kind of makes you critique like what you’re criticising, IMV. I accept this is short form though.
I read your article. You suggest the blurring in academic circles of legal/illegal entered the mainstream with the switch to ‘undocumented’ and that means the left encouraged a shift to the nativist right? I didn’t see any other examples in the piece.
I generally get a good speed with Virgin - except when it inexplicably, frequently completely drops out for a couple of mins at a time, usually in the morning. Very bad for meetings.
