How long before we see AI/LLM adblockers as the viral tool of the day?

The team at #LMStudio just released LM Studio 0.4.0. I need to refresh my install so that I am ready to tinker this weekend. #AI #GenAI #API

AI is interpreting for others
I had to get up for my 1st 4am meeting of the new year. I have to admit that the near real time Microsoft Teams AI interpreteter was very helpful for me this morning when the conversation switched to Japanese. The interpreter added almost no latency to the meeting. #AI
It's always DNS. Quite a few articles popping up about the recent AWS us-east-1 outage, but I have not seen a deep dive yet.
Has anyone else noticed that the button to create a post disappears if you resize the window larger? #bsky #webui
AI boosts efficiency, but managing agent development costs can be a challenge. How are companies tackling AI sprawl? Are you using a dedicated AI management platform or building your own solution? #AI #AIstrategy #AIgovernance #AIControlPlane
At least I know what my study path looks like now.
I tested my retention with a quick zip through a practice test. I need to revisit some of the early topics in the series. Too much of a time gap.
The NLP module reminded me of when I was trying to figure out Python NLTK for my digital twin.
I completed my first go at the Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals courses. It's basically concepts and introduction to Microsoft services. Time to start studying and working the practice tests. #AI #upskilling

I started out using @lmstudio-ai.bsky.social for running local models, but I recently switched to @msty.app. No issues. Document attachments and knowledge stacks improve the results. #AI #GenAI

CES is almost here. Anyone attending the show? #CES #electronics #gadgets #LasVegas
Back to work today. During the in between, I managed to leisurely read 2 books, get a few miles on the pedals, and get half way through some AI classes.
I have been working lately on the SEO for a few small sites, and now I need to put together a link building strategy. Anyone have any tips of what worked for them?
Even though I am not attending AWS reInvent this year, I am still following the product announcements. I have been brushing up on my DSQL skills in the past year, and this one seems pretty cool. #AWS #AWSreInvent #Aurora #DistributedSQL #DSQL

To everyone arriving in Las Vegas for AWS reInvent, welcome to town. Unfortunately reInvent is not in the cards for me this year, but I will be making my way down to the strip to meet some for some former coworkers. Say hi if you see me! #LasVegas #AWSreInvent
I finished up the AI Fundamentals learning path from IBM Skillsbuild today. #skills #upskilling

I have my list of feature flag candidates sorted. I am going to try out something other than LaunchDarkly. #PersonalProject
What are people out there using for feature flags in small projects? I am looking for something lightweight that I can surface features within a user context? #DevOps #PersonalProject
I have migrated my remaining personal MySQL data over Postgres so that I can start updating my apps.
I have fully removed the MySQL dependency from my blog sites. I have a bit of prep work to do, and then I'll be moving my remaining workloads over to Postgres.
I see that bluesky is getting more attention on other sites, especially LinkedIn. It's picking up momentum every day.
Ten years ago today, I packed up my car and started my westward drive to Las Vegas to start a new job. I have been here ever since.
Good logo. Looking forward to the updates.
I am trying to merge items from multiple AWS reInvent talks into a single slideshow for a "what I learned at reInvent" presentation that I have to give tomorrow.
I really should build my network here now that I have an account. #newbie
