Who in their right mind claims Castlevania III good? I wanna know, because the NES version sucks. Bullsh!t Enemy Placement, obscene damage, altered Attack Patterns....
I also now hate the Anniversary Collection, as clearing the JP version, the comparatively playable one, DOESN'T SCORE ACHIEVEMENTS.
I think I'm down for Whisper Mountain Outbreak~ It's got a great gameplay loop, it just needs more in the variety side~ More maps, more perks, more enemies...

Notes on this Raccoin Run: -Orange Ticket, Big Eater -I was feeling out the character's kit, first time going in. Rounds started a bit rough as I had trouble building enough score. Cooking foods helped, but I'd found that ingraining Buggy onto the completed Food did nothing to the shop and I couldn't get any Infinity Squishies. -UFO Catcher/Racket remains disgustingly broken; 'Sell Three Capsules, make/bank Coins' and '70% chance to refund Capsules when your Prize Inventory is full' make for a powerful Recursion Engine to help budget money... if you can snowball enough. The Keychain to add Unspent Coins to the next Round helps late-game and builds this snowball decently enough. -But what really helped push it over was the Chips on the left in tandem with a few prepared foods. To explain: Prepared Foods using 'Cloveroin' up the Conversion Rate of Coins, making them Silver (scores more points). Make enough Prepared Foods, find a single Infinity Squishy to imgrain onto one, then Astrolabe takes over. Astrolabe says 'Every 12th Food Coin from Chip that you Insert is Used For Free'. What happens if you apply this to an Infinity Coin? It's effectively duplicated. -Clover Chip: 'Have a Conversion Rate above 40%? We'll make some of those Silvers Gold(Permanent tiny Score Rate Increase when Scored) for you~' Hmm, so you're saying that if I surge my Conversion Rate past 100%, that Silver becomes Gold more often? Suddenly, .1 increase multiplied by over 100 Gold Coins self-perpetuating doesn't sound so small anymore. By the end of Round 17, I had my duplicates ready. Midway through 18, this became untenable to manage. Coin Rack quickly ran out of space to hold the Infinity Coins, some of which scored upwards of 5mil apiece. Scoring even a few coins, with all optimizations set, caused half-seconds of lag which evolved to full seconds, even on Normal Speed. Sadly, had to end the run because I was expecting a hard game crash eventually. Hilariously effective though!
This time on Raccy Enjoys #raccoin this monstrosity that thrives on Conversion Rate, Scoring Conversion Rate and, come Round 18, unbearable lag spikes when the game struggles to compute the math required for scoring coins dependent on the above.
