After two days of helpful collaboration, the #CONCERTO_GA2026 meeting has come to an end!

#CONCERTO_GA2026 continued with three parallel working groups, fostering collaboration and in-depth exchanges across key thematic areas: Modelling, Volatile organic compounds (VOC), and Land use.
These sessions provided valuable space for partners to align approaches and share valuable progress.
🌍 Advancing discussions on land surface modelling at #CONCERTO_GA2026
Giulia Mengoli from CMCC presented the P-model in #LandSurfaceModelling, exploring how process-based modelling approaches can strengthen the understanding of vegetation dynamics and carbon–water interactions.
🍃 The day continued with a session on Ecosystem Management presented by Julia Suskova from SISTEMA GmbH, focusing on practical strategies for ecosystem monitoring, management, and restoration, and how these approaches can support broader environmental and policy goals.

Day 2 of #CONCERTO_GA2026 opened with a presentation by Stefano Materia and @amirpasha.bsky.social from @bsc-cns.bsky.social showcasing the advanced AI applications for land cover and land management projections. This sparked a discussion, reflecting on the challenges for land management in Europe

Raya Ganeva from @pensoft.net presented the current status of the CDE activities, highlighting the impact from the project's first year, along with the dissemination plans for the coming months.

🌍🔗 Simone Mantovani from MEEO introduced the CONCERTO Data Sharing Platform, providing a preview of its functionality and how partners can effectively use it to access and share project datasets.
