Trekked down to London yesterday to pop into the Gundam shop in London. Also managed to snag a little Shiori Fujisaki in the Bandai store next door.

Starting the year with a pulled muscle in my neck.

Eating Brie en croute and watching cartoons. Farewell, 2025, this is the energy I’m bringing to next year.

Taking a little break from FF7 as I’m just grinding up materia for the Weapon battles, so I’ve hopped back to Octopath 1 where I’m… grinding levels for the Galdera battle. A power levelling end to the year.

Absolutely rattling through this replay of FF7. It’s such a relaxed game to get through when you understand how materia works, such a broken system.

Spent most of this week sick, but worked through the Knuckles TV show. Really fun, enjoy the live action Sonic stuff a great deal.

The scenery really is very very pretty, the cores have a fantastic weight and speed to them. Really satisfying to play. BUT, it does throw me a bit to have so many options to replay missions and grind money for upgrades. Takes a lot of pressure off.

Started playing the latest Armored Core, kept putting it off in case it wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be, and it turns out it’s not everything I’d hoped for and more (which is fine, things rarely are,) but I’m still having a good time of it.

Just been to see Mononoke at the cinema, first time on the big screen. Always an incredible time, so much more so this time.

Been playing Huntdown again and just had my wife ask earnestly “how is this relaxing for you?”

Entered this lad into a competition. No idea if it’ll get anywhere, but I get a badge for taking part.

Started watching the original Gundam series, and it’s such a good time. It’s definitely aged a bit, but the pacing and tension is great.
