Today I am thankful that my neighbor wanted the extra iris plants I had to dig up. I love them, but the patch was overtaking the whole perennial bed, and I hate throwing good plants in the compost pile.

I attended a business meeting at an office I used to work at, and I was greeted with hugs and "we miss yous". Today I am thankful for work friends.
It's probably just that I've forgotten something I need to do, but today I'm thankful that I have "extra" time so I can work on a sweater I'm crocheting.
As a mother of a 21 year old son (who also enjoys music festivals), this hit hard. Today I am thankful that Rachel has such amazing strength, and for the reminder to hug my kid more often. May Hersh's memory be a blessing to her.
It was the first of the gardening season where I was able to garden for the whole day. Today I am thankful for Tylenol.
Today I am thankful for fresh asparagus. I am also confused that after 25 years in the same bed, there are now some rogue stalks in the strawberry bed. I guess now it's an asparagus-strawberry bed.
Today I am thankful for new knitters and hookers. (Most of us are bi-stitchual, and anyway we don't discriminate.) We're up to 9 for Thursday Evening Knitting, and a woman in the library found us by accident and asked if she could come next week. We'll need a bigger room soon!
One of my neighbors has a yellow magnolia tree, similar to the one at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It's blooming and gorgeous! Today I am thankful for beautiful trees.
We had an unusually warm day for April, and now it's raining. There's really nothing like the smell of fresh rain! Today I am thankful for petrichor.
A golden retriever, black lab, husky, and a yellow lab/retriever mix are looking off camera at Cheryl, who is bribing them with treats. Harley (husky) and Leo (yellow) are licking their lips in anticipation.
Today I am thankful for Old Man Puppies. My neighbor's dog Leo (front and center) is 11 today, so we celebrated his birthday with some Dogsters ice cream after our walk. I've known Leo since he was about 6 weeks old.
Since we're expecting warm weather this week, I switched from flannel sheets to Egyptian cotton. Today I am thankful for high thread counts.
A yard with bright green grass, purple violets. and yellow dandelions. Weeds are in the eye of the beholder.
Today I am thankful that the violets in my lawn have started blooming.
Today I am thankful for the safe return of the Artemis crew!

One of my knitting group friends was cleaning out her mother in law's pattern stash and found this gem. Today I am thankful for generous friends and unexpected treasures!
Today I am thankful that there are still enough leftovers from Easter dinner that I don't have to cook tonight. It's too much to have to think about what's for dinner with so much else going on.
Today I am thankful that it ended up being Taco Tuesday.
As predicted, today I am thankful for elastic waisted pants. Also that it didn't rain, so I was able to walk off some of the Easter candy.
Today I am thankful for chocolate rabbits and peanut butter eggs. (Tomorrow I will probably be thankful for elastic waisted pants.)
It's not April Fools Day anymore. (Not that I don't appreciate sarcasm, though!)
A suburban street lined with emerald green grass, red maple buds, pink cherry blossoms, and robins egg blue sky, accented with white puffy clouds and dark gray tree limbs and trunks.
There is a very specific color combination that only happens in spring. My camera doesn't capture it, but this is close. Today I am thankful for all the spring colors!
We just got an Aldi nearby a few months ago. I haven't been yet, but our regular grocery store has been cutting prices to compete, so I'm very pleased with it!
I didn't post anything I was thankful for yesterday because I was busy cleaning out the kitchen cabinets. Today I am thankful that I no longer have 9 plastic drink pitchers and a truly unrealistic amount of expired pantry items cluttering the place up.
Today I am thankful that I didn't have to decide what's for dinner. It's just me and the dog tonight, so he had kibble with some boiled chicken, and I had a bowl of cereal.
I have a husky, so knitting and crocheting always include dog hair no matter what yarn I choose.
He looks and sounds awful today. More so than usual, if I may be so optimistic.
Today I am thankful that the Artemis crew had a successful launch. This was the first time I've watched a launch in real time since Challenger.
You can’t fix the whole world, but you can help your small patch of it to thrive.
Today I am thankful for the apparent chaos in maga-land. I hope they get everything they deserve.
Today I am thankful that we only put dead people on currency. He can't want to be on there badly enough if he's still breathing.
My dog met a 3 month old puppy this morning. (Sorry, no pics as I didn't have my phone). Today I am thankful that my big galoot very sweetly laid down so the puppy could sniff him instead of doing his usual hyper shenanigans.
